Docracy -sign it, send it, it disappears - SaaS, Legal, Developer Tools (for the MCP connector)

by
Docracy is a free e-signature tool built for quick, low-stakes agreements — freelance gigs, roommate agreements, one-off contracts — where creating an account just to sign one PDF is overkill. Upload a PDF, add signers in order, and each one gets their turn automatically. No accounts, no dashboard — the document disappears once everyone's signed. Free for chains of up to 2 signers.

Hey everyone — maker here 👋 I built Docracy after being annoyed at how much overhead it takes to get one document signed when you don't need — or want — a full enterprise e-signature account. Splitting rent, a quick freelance contract, an NDA before a call: these shouldn't require creating yet another account you'll use twice a year. So the free tier has no signup at all: upload, add signers, done. The document is gone once everyone's signed — nothing sitting in a dashboard forever. For people who send documents often, the paid tier adds the stuff that actually saves time: AI that finds where the signature fields should go, summarizes what you're agreeing to, flags one-sided clauses, and can even draft a whole agreement from a one-line description. And since a lot of you probably live in Claude/ChatGPT/etc. day to day, there's an MCP connector so your AI assistant can send a document for you without you touching the dashboard at all. Also just open-sourced 15 common contract templates (NDA, offer letter, freelance agreement, lease, etc.) if you just want the wording without any tool attached: Would love feedback, especially on the AI features — happy to answer anything below.

We just launched — happy to answer questions.

We’re excited to share that our new WhatsApp integration will go live on August 18.

This update makes it possible to send, sign, and complete agreements directly through WhatsApp — no accounts, no friction, and no learning curve for your clients. It’s built for the same use cases Docracy focuses on: quick, low‑stakes agreements that need to be done fast and without onboarding anyone into new software.

On launch day, WhatsApp will support:

  • Sending agreements as secure links

  • Collecting signatures in a mobile‑first flow

  • Automatic status updates back into your workspace

  • Zero setup for recipients — they just tap and sign

This is one of our most requested features, and it fits our mission: make agreements effortless for small teams, freelancers, and one‑off situations.
