👋 Hey everyone! I built Dockify because my own Mac dock had become overwhelming — I juggle design, coding, and a bit of gaming, and all those apps piled into one dock made it messy and distracting. Dockify solves that by letting you create separate dock setups for different workflows. I use one for design, one for coding, and one for gaming — each minimal, focused, and easy to switch between. This is for anyone who wants a cleaner, more intentional Mac experience, whether you’re working, studying, or just relaxing. I’d love to hear how you’d set up your own custom docks! ⚡️Dockify is a lifetime app, No Monthly Subscriptions, Just One Payment and you'll have Lifetime Access. Redeem the coupon code for 20% ⚡️

@offfwhitedesign Congrats on the launch! Dockify neatly solves dock clutter. Do you see it staying dock-only or expanding into full workspace profiles?

Zach Olsen

@tonyabracadabra I am fully open to expanding the features of Dockify, That's a really interesting idea! i'm going to definitely look into that

Congrats on the launch!

I often switch between work and personal modes—does Dockify support syncing setups across multiple Macs?

Zach Olsen

@jason123 It does! Dockify will sync all your saved docks between all your Mac's that are signed into the same Apple ID, Using your iCloud so everything stays private to you.

Huge congrats on launching Dockify today! It looks like such a clever solution for anyone wanting more control over their Mac dock. The immediate switching with hotkeys and Apple Shortcuts integration sounds incredibly powerful for streamlining different workflows throughout the day – I can definitely see myself using this to jump between creative and focused work modes. My biggest question is, how are you planning to visually demonstrate the sheer variety of dock setups users can craft, and are there any specific aesthetic customization features you're excited to build out next? Wishing you all the best!

THIS is what I didn't know I needed! I constantly switch between coding, design, and admin work - having different dock setups for each context would be incredible. The hotkey switching is clever.

Just launched ZenTrack today too (AI productivity app) - we actually track "context switching" as a productivity killer. Dockify could literally reduce the friction that tanks focus sessions.

@offfwhitedesign Congrats on the launch. Dockify looks like a neat way to keep the Mac dock clean and productive.

@vimalraj_vasu Thank you 🎉 It's definitely been a joy to use and keep everything organized.

love the concept of workflow-specific docks - would save me so much time switching contexts :))

Aryan

dock organization is such a game changer for mac productivity, love how clean this makes switching between work and personal setups

Apple Shortcuts integration and global hotkeys make it frictionless. It could become a quiet powerhouse for focused workflows.

Zach Olsen

@rakibulism I've noticed an increase in my productivity, building out different workflows with Apple Shortcuts has been a game changer, keeping me from getting distracted and allowing me to focus on the work at hand has been amazing.

Love this! Dealing with all the clutter is a nightmare
Zach Olsen

@barroncaster Right! I was getting overwhelmed with all the apps on my dock, now I keep it clean and workflow oriented, creating different apple shortcut automations has been amazing as well, with one hotkey command I can switch my dock, open all the related apps to that workflow, turn on focus modes, etc. its been a real game changer for productivity.

This hit home, my dock is a chaotic mess of tools I rarely need at the same time. Just set up a “focus” dock for writing and it already feels way less noisy.
