Launching dither on Wednesday — a cross-platform to-do app

Hey everyone 👋

I'm launching dither this Wednesday (Sept 23rd) and wanted to say hi before then.

The short version:

I loved Things 3's design but got tired of it being Apple-only, and every cross-platform alternative I found was a subscription instead. So dither is built around the same idea — one-time purchase, no subscription, no account, your data stays yours — but on Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows, from one codebase.

A few things it does that I'm proud of:

• Reminders that keep re-firing until you actually deal with them, not one notification you'll dismiss and forget

• Task dependencies — lock a to-do until its prerequisite is done

• Sync through whatever cloud folder you already use (Drive, Dropbox, iCloud) — no account, no server of mine involved

• Full JSON/Markdown export, always available, even after the trial ends

• Free 21-day trial everywhere, no card required, when it goes live Wednesday.
