Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’ve been building Dina pretty much every day, shipping small improvements, fixing things, and slowly turning it into the product I always wanted to use myself. Dina 4.5 is probably the update I’ve enjoyed building the most so far. One of the biggest additions is Shareable Links. I never liked the idea that sharing your own videos should lock you into another storage subscription, so with Dina you can either use Dina Cloud or connect your own storage and keep your files under your control. I also added Screenshot Mode, which is something I’m especially excited about. Right now it’s a simple way to capture and polish screenshots, but I see this becoming a much bigger part of Dina over time. I want Dina to become the place where you can capture, edit, present, and share anything from your screen, while continuing to make the video side genuinely great. And then there’s 3D. This was a fun one. You can now give recordings depth, perspective, and cinematic movement without needing to touch any 3D software. I’ve put a lot of love into this update and I’m still improving Dina constantly based on what people ask for. You can try Dina free for 7 days, no credit card required :- And for the Product Hunt community, you can use DINAPH at checkout for a 10% discount. Would genuinely love to hear what you think, what feels good, and what you’d like me to build next.

Love the built in ai transcript editing

 Thank you Luke :)

I've been using Dina since it first launched on Product Hunt. It's my go-to for sharing demo and screen recordings! Good editor, no recurring fees, and just works. Awesome job and excited for the new updates!

Thank you Gabe, it means a lot :)

I have been able to follow the project since Zaid started and how this update has evolved is crazy.

For me this is one of those apps that is well built, from the UI and the UX designed for the task that their users must execute.

Congratulations on all the improvements you have been adding, Zaid.

Thank you so much Carlos, it means a lot <3 You are awesome

thanks to you for creating a tremendous product, I reiterate attention to detail, care, and a lot of love

 my pleasure :)

Happy Dina customer here! Love the product.

Thank you Abey, happy to have you here :)

When someone is considering Dina vs Screen Studio, what’s the most decisive difference they’ll notice in the final video (not the feature list)—and what tradeoffs did you make to deliver that while staying fully native and offline-first?

The biggest difference is the feel of the final video.

With Dina, I’ve been pushing more toward a cinematic look, more depth, perspective, 3D movement, layouts, slides etc.

The tradeoff is that I’ve kept the system pretty opinionated. Instead of trying to become a full motion-design tool, I’m building a smaller set of effects that look good quickly and can still be rendered locally on the Mac.

Been using Dina for a few months now. All my product launches - are recorded through it! Love the tool and the new features!

 Thank you Sarvagya :)

Using Dina for editing for all my launch videos, explainers etc for 6 months now, Dina is a breeze to work with and the new set of features are totally mindblowing!

thank you Rushab, it means a lot

Is there a trail version I can test? thanks

Yes, there is a 7 day free trial no card required

transcript-driven editing is the feature that'd actually get me to switch from just cutting on the waveform by ear, that's a real time save for anything talking-head. does the transcript editing handle filler words and long pauses automatically, or is it more of a manual "click the word, cut the clip" workflow?
