Hold a hotkey, speak, release, and your words appear in any app. What makes it different is push-to-talk control and "Actually Override," which lets you correct yourself mid-sentence by voice. Hey Product Hunt ā€” I built DictaFlow because most dictation tools never really clicked for me. They either felt too passive, too awkward to control, or they broke the second I needed to fix a mistake quickly. I wanted something that felt more like a keyboard shortcut than a separate mode: hold a key, talk, release, done. The feature Iā€™m most proud of is "Actually Override." If you misspeak in the middle of a sentence, you can correct yourself by voice without stopping to grab the keyboard. That ended up changing the whole experience for me because dictation only feels fast when fixing mistakes is fast too. We also focused a lot on making DictaFlow work across real workflows, not just ideal demos ā€” Mac, Windows, mobile, and even remote desktop / Citrix setups where a lot of other tools get clunky.
