Wave is the ultimate Software as a Service starter kit built with Laravel. Version 2 has been rewritten and open-sourced. This project will allow you to create your own Software as a Service in record time 🚀
Hey Product Hunters,
I'm happy to announce version 2.0 of Wave. I've had so much fun building my DevDojo platform (https://devdojo.com), and a lot of the features that I've learned and built have been included in Wave.
I wanted an easy-to-use SAAS starter kit that I could use for future projects and I'm sure many others can find this useful as well.
The project is available as an Open Source project at https://github.com/thedevdojo/wave, so be sure to give it a star and show some love.
I hope you all enjoy the product and I look forward to hearing your feedback. Thanks!
@tony_lea4 Ohh just noticed you're using Paddle actually.

@tony_lea4 It worked very smoothly without any issue. :)

We've been using this platform for 18 months, with several iterations of front end onboard solutions.
With one we have 120+ installs for users to run their own SaaS from it.
We've been able to build many additional core functions easily, like referral tracking, 3rd party crm integrations, marketplace for after sales and even upsells on the checkout.
We managed to get installs with forge down to 3 minutes on an app server.
Super excited to see Tailwind in, we were adding this ourselves but Tony's code is always so clean. Happy day
@jonleesmith Version 1 supported Stripe and Braintree, but this new version we wanted to integrate a simpler payment platform called Paddle https://paddle.com. The integration is just so seamless and easy. Now, with a single Payment processor there will be so many cool things that we can do with the script.
If you need to use stripe you might consider using Laravel Spark https://spark.laravel.com. Thanks for the comment. Hope you have a great day.

@tony_lea4 Thanks for the reply! Yea, paddle looks cool. My project is undergoing an upgrade which already uses stripe. Is it possible to switch at all with some custom work? The original version of the product used Spark.
Many thanks, and great work on the release. Impressive stuff!

@jonleesmith@tony_lea4 we're working through the dependencies to make omnipay work with it. Harder than we initially thought. Love this platform
@jonleesmith Thanks! You could definitely make the switch; however, if you have a previous billing system, you would need to have a legacy billing functionality, so all your current users will be on your Legacy Billing functionality and then new users would be on the updated Paddle billing.
I can't make any guarantees, but if you wanted to join the Pro program, where you can gain access to the private Wave Repo https://devdojo.com/wave#pro, I can see about helping you out further with this :)
Talk to you soon.
