Hi everyone — I’m Shivani, the author of Designing for Consent. This paper is born out of a simple question: Can platforms make money without manipulating users? I explored two small but powerful ideas: 1. Letting users customize their nav bar 2. Adding a micro (0.1s) delay to ad skips, personalized with AI Both focus on intent > intrusion — because the future of digital platforms should be ethical and effective.
