Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Pete, the founder of dentalist.ai. Quick origin story: I run a dental marketing agency, so I've spent years getting practices to show up online. But ranking #1 doesn't mean you're the right fit for the person clicking. Patients still pick whoever has the most reviews or the biggest ad budget, which is completely backwards. The best dentist for you might be the quiet office three blocks away that nobody's optimizing for. The whole way people find a dentist is broken. Your insurance hands you a list of names with zero context. Review sites get gamed constantly, and even a clean 4.8 average won't tell you whether that office is calm and gentle or runs people through like a factory. So we built the opposite of a directory. You don't scroll and decode star ratings. You just say what you need in plain English ("gentle dentist near me who takes my insurance and is good with kids") and the AI matches you to practices that actually fit. It also reads public signals about each office and predicts the "vibe" so you know what you're walking into before you book. We label those clearly as predictions, not fake reviews, because this space does not need more gamed numbers.
