Which page should you turn into your first product video?

by•

If you want to make a product video but aren't sure where to start, pick one page that answers one customer question.

A few practical starting points:

• SaaS: a feature page that answers ‘What does this actually do?’

• Ecommerce: a product listing that explains the item and its main benefits.

• Agencies: a client's service page that explains who it helps and what to do next.

Keep the first video focused: one audience, one question, and one next step. Before recording, check that the page is current and remove any claims you can't support. Review the walkthrough for clarity rather than trying to cover every feature.

I'm the maker of Demovanta. It turns a URL into a narrated recording of the actual website, with a walkthrough you can review and change before recording. You can download a landscape or portrait MP4. New accounts start with about three minutes of video, with no card required.

Try it:

What would you want your first video to explain: the overall product, one feature, or a specific product listing?
