Nice. I use speech-to-text all the time. Will give this a try.

This is a really great tool. As a Content Creator in the tech space, managing a marketing agency - this is going to be extremely helpful for my daily tasks. As a software engineer - kudos. As a busy entrepreneur - thank you.

I've been waiting on a windows version and was ready to subscribe. Your slides show the windows shortcut key, I got all excited, then I get to your page and it's for Mac only, Windows coming later. I got my hopes up too quickly.

@agent_adridder We will have Windows soon, you can sign up for our waitlist.

@agent_adridder We appreciate your excitement! The team wanted to see if there was a way we could get you access to a Windows version now vs. later. We've put something together that you can use now if you don't mind a few workarounds and slightly limited functionality. Sign up for the waitlist here: https://vgdsbzd6pe5.typeform.com... and I'll send out an email with instructions soon!

@agent_adridder @_sharonyeh_ The main thing I'm looking for is not another chat GPT voice assistant but a really robust voice text input. I type with my voice more often than with my fingers on my Android device and it is unthinkable that I do not have something for Windows that is equivalent. Not only that, but AI has the potential to reformat and fix typos and stuff right out of the box.

@agent_adridder @alexander_de_ridder We have what you're describing as our Dictation feature! Let me know once you've filled out the form with your email, and I'll get you set up to use an early version of our Windows app! https://vgdsbzd6pe5.typeform.com...

How does this compare to GPTs voice recorder assistant?
Ingrid Elise Løvlund Rekaa
@andrew_connorton Why don't you take it for a spin and let me know what you think? We've built Shortcut to be quick to access with a shortcut so it won't interrupt your workflow, but be a part of it. It's responsive and lets you interrupt it, allowing you to have useful conversations. We’re continuously working on it to ensure it's efficient and provides just the right amount and depth of information without being overwhelming. If you have feedback, I’d love to hear it! //created by Poised

@andrew_connorton Advanced voice mode on ChatGPT very much works like a voice version of their text-based chat – you'll see that it essentially reads out what it would've written in text as a response. This means it usually provides long responses that you typically wouldn't want in a voice format. Shortcut is designed to be voice-first – with that in mind, as Ingrid mentioned, it's built to interact with you how you would naturally speak to someone. Also, Shortcut provides real-time streaming of text as well as a full conversation history as you're speaking to the assistant so you're able to see the output in real-time – voice mode lacks this. And, this is only the beginning of our product vision – eventually, we want this to be a product that can truly work alongside you and help perform tasks in real-time. You should definitely give it a try and let us know what you think! It's completely free right now :)
