How many lifetime deals do you actually own — and could you name them all?

I've been buying lifetime deals for years — AppSumo, PitchGround, StackSocial — and a while back Itried to list everything I owned from memory. I got to about eight before I stalled. The actualnumber was several times that.

That gap is why I'm building DealKeep (launching here in late September). But the thing that surprised me whilebuilding it wasn't the disorganization — it was how many of these deals quietly die.

We started logging every lifetime deal that failed. We're at 89 verified so far:

* 81% were straightforward shutdowns — company folds, tool goes dark.

* 1 in 8 revoked lifetime access while the company was still operating. No shutdown. Theyjust decided "lifetime" was over.

That second number is the one I can't get past. You can do everything right — buy from a healthycompany, keep using the tool — and still lose the thing you paid for.

So, two questions for this forum:

1. How big is your LTD stack really? Not the number you'd guess — the number you'd get if youactually went through your inbox.

2. Have you ever been burned by a deal disappearing? Especially the second kind, where thecompany is alive and well and the lifetime access just... isn't.

I'll go first: ~40 deals, and I've been burned twice — once by a shutdown, once by a "we'resunsetting legacy plans" email that was a revocation with better manners.
