DayFlow - Pure minimalist daily task tracking and prioritizing tool

by
Most task tracking tools get too complex and make themselves a mess to manage. DayFlow on the other hand is a pure and simple task tracker. Add tasks to today or backlog, prioritize less than 5 everyday, and try to clear them out. Simple as that.

I started tracking my tasks with Apple Notes, Google Keep, etc by simply writing them down in lines and striking things out. However things grows faster then initially expected and the list gets longer and longer. I wanted to look at only a few things (ideally less than 3-5) and know exactly what I'm going to do on the day, but still be able to keep track of all my backlog, easily rerank (reprioritize) them and pull them in and out of today or sometimes a waiting status. Most other task tracking tools I tried make this too complicated and includes a lot of functions that I don't really need. So I created DayFlow. It fits my own working style perfectly. After using it for a few months myself, I thought this might be able to help others too and that's why I'm launching it on product hunt. Best practice tips: 1. Keep "Today" short. During the planning session, if you put more than 5 tasks in today, it will show you a friendly warning, but you are the one that have eventual control 2. Run a planning session at the start of the day, and try your best not to plan again or add new things into Today during the day 3. Review your backlog from time to time, color tag them, remove outdated tasks, and rerank so it's easier during the daily planning sessions.

DayFlow nails what most task tools miss - simplicity. Congrats on the launch. We just launched Mukh.1 too - AI agents that take care of the routine stuff so you don’t have to. Give it a look!
