Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Nivedika

Built Dayflect in 2 weeks after one too many days where I worked 12 hours but couldn't explain what I actually accomplished.

The problem: You feel busy but not productive. You work hard but can't see where your focus goes.

How Dayflect helps:
🧠 Tracks your Focus Ratio: Deep Work vs Routine vs Rest
📊 Visual 24-hour day dial that shows your real focus patterns
🔥 Momentum streaks to build consistency
🔒 100% private & offline—no tracking, no ads

🚨 Launch special: FREE until November 22nd (normally $5 one-time payment, no subscriptions ever)

After Nov 22, it goes back to $5. Grab it now if you've ever felt that gap between effort and output.

I'd genuinely love your feedback especially on:
• What features matter most to you?
• Does the Focus Ratio concept resonate?
• Any missing features for your workflow?

Thanks for checking it out! 💙

When will this release for iOS? Waiting to incorporate this in my workflow!

Nivedika

@ladi777 iOS is in the final stretch we’re polishing the last details and submitting to App Store review very soon. Hang tight, it’ll be worth the wait! 🚀 I’ll shout from the rooftops the second it’s live. Appreciate your patience! 🙌

Love the circular dial interface! Finally a focus tracker that doesn't feel like homework. The visual representation makes it so easy to see patterns at a glance. Congrats on the launch! 🎉

Nivedika

@vanshika_goswamiThank you so much! 😄 That’s exactly the vibe we were going for less “productivity prison,” more “at-a glance flow state.” Super happy the circular dial is hitting the spot for you. Enjoy spotting those beautiful patterns (and maybe a few sneaky procrastination loops 😂). Appreciate the love! 🚀

Motion Verse

I’ve been using Dayflect for a week now and it’s already reshaped how I view my time. Instead of unlimited to-do lists that leave me feeling unaccomplished, this app makes you categorise tasks into Deep Work, Routine, Breaks, or Downtime—and then tracks your “Focus Ratio”, the percentage of Deep Work vs. the rest. The moment I saw it, I realised how many hours I was “busy” but not actually moving the needle.

Nivedika

@motion_verse Wow, this just made my day thank you! 🙌 That “busy but not moving the needle” feeling is exactly why we built Dayflect. Hearing that the Focus Ratio is giving you that clarity after just a week is the best possible feedback.

Keep riding that insight the patterns only get more revealing the longer you use it. If you ever spot something wild in your circles (or want to roast your own Downtime spikes 😂), tag me, I love seeing them.

So happy it’s clicking for you! 🚀

Congrats on the launch, @nivedika ! 🔥 Curious, how accurate does Dayflect feel at distinguishing real deep work from just “looking busy”? That’s the gap most productivity tools miss.

Nivedika

@harkirat_singh3777 Great question! 🙏 The key is YOU decide what counts as Deep Work vs Routine when you log tasks. Dayflect doesn't auto-track or guess it gives you the framework to be honest with yourself. So if you're in a meeting but just scrolling your phone? That's Routine (or even Rest). But if you're in a focused 1:1 solving a real problem? That's Deep Work. The 24-hour dial makes it visual, so at the end of the day you can't lie to yourself you see exactly where your focus went. That self-awareness is what most tools miss. The gap closes when YOU define what matters, not the app 💙
