This feels like a huge entrant in open llm's. have you played around with it at all?

I don't believe it's usable unless you're a Databricks customer. It depends on their infra to be so performant.
The race is on which makes the space even more exciting. Quick question though, how does an entrant like DBRX compete with the giants in the space? (mind space might be already occupied, right?)
