I built DailyForever because I wanted a simple, no-nonsense way to share text and files like Pastebin but without giving up privacy. Most existing platforms either store your data unencrypted or require personal information like email (that's more like optional not even needed) to use core features. I felt there was a gap for a tool that was both user-friendly and privacy-first, with no tradeoffs between ease of use and security.
2. What’s new and unique about this launch compared to others?
Unlike many similar tools (pastebin,GitHub Gist) DailyForever is built around end-to-end zero-knowledge encryption by default not as a premium feature or optional setting, but core to the product. Every note and file is encrypted in the browser before it ever touches the server. There are:
No required accounts, no email, no tracking.
Account recovery without email via secure PIN or backup code.
An interface that combines encrypted text + file sharing in one place.
True ephemeral data expired or deleted content is securely shredded on the backend.
This launch isn’t just about creating another paste tool it’s about proving that privacy and simplicity can coexist in modern web apps. and if this website would gain any traction there are plans to open sourcing the whole project
3. What are you most proud of in this launch?
I’m proud that DailyForever makes real privacy accessible. No extensions, no technical setup just open the site, write or upload, and share securely. The fact that even non-technical users can benefit from strong encryption without even realizing it’s happening in the background.
Also, the platform respects people’s time and data no logins/signups required, no marketing emails, no dark patterns. Just a clean tool that does what it promises, and nothing more..
