Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm a master's student and I built Daily History solo over the past year design, code, backend, content pipeline, all of it. The idea came from a frustration: history is genuinely one of the most fascinating things there is, but school turns it into dates and dead names. So I built an app that does the opposite every single day it gives you one story that actually makes you go "wait, that really happened?" Stuff like Henrietta Lacks, whose cells were taken without her knowledge in 1951 and went on to power the polio vaccine and modern medicine while her family found out 20 years later and never saw a cent. One of those every day. It has streaks, XP and achievements (because I wanted it to be a habit, not a one-time thing), and it works in 5 languages. It's free with an optional PRO tier.
