I got fed up with photo cleaner apps that promise the world and deliver ads. Every one I tried was either packed with banners between every swipe, ran "scans" that felt more like stall tactics to push you into a subscription, or just didn't actually delete what it said it found. So I built the thing I actually wanted: swipe left to delete, right to keep. Smart Clean finds real duplicates and blurry shots — no fake "27 issues found!" popups, no ads interrupting every action. Everything runs on-device, nothing gets uploaded anywhere. If you've been burned by one of those "cleaner" apps before, I'd love to hear what soured you on them — genuinely shaped a lot of what I built here.
