AI systems can fail convincingly

by

One thing becoming increasingly clear while testing AI systems:

Failure doesn’t always look like failure.

AI systems can:

• sound coherent

• appear confident

• generate convincing outputs

…while still being completely incorrect.

Not because they’re deceptive.

But because they don’t actually understand truth or consequences.

That creates a very different reliability challenge from traditional software systems.
