Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Crisis Pulse because of a simple, uncomfortable truth: the world changes faster than we prepare for it. We watch the news. We see conflicts escalate, supply chains strain, tensions rise. We tell ourselves "I should probably prepare" — and then we don't. By the time we act, shelves are empty and prices have doubled. This is Beta 0.1 — free to use, and here's what it does: • A live global conflict map with 25 monitored hotspots, sourced from ACLED, CFR, and International Crisis Group — click any point to see the evidence • GPS-based risk scoring that tells you how close instability is to your doorstep • A family emergency supply calculator that knows your country — select Japan and it adds miso and instant ramen; select Mexico and it switches to tortilla flour and jalapeños; select India and it prioritizes dal and ghee. Prices convert to local currency automatically. What it doesn't do: collect your data, require an account, or sell you anything. It's a single HTML file. Fully open source. I believe preparedness shouldn't start with panic. It should start with awareness — calm, informed, personal. Would love to hear: what does your family's emergency plan look like? Have you ever had to use one?
