How do you actually keep what you read?

I spent years telling myself I read a lot. Then I realized I could not explain most of it a month later. The highlights sat in an app I never reopened. The notes became a folder I never searched.

So I want to ask the people here: what actually works for you?

- Do you take notes, and do you ever go back to them?

- Flashcards, spaced repetition, something else?

Cosminds - Organize what you learn by idea, not by source

Everything you learn stays trapped in the source it came from, so you forget it. Cosminds organizes what you read and watch by idea, not by source: books, PDFs, YouTube, articles and notes become one library. It pulls out the claims, drills you until you can write them back from memory, and its AI Wiki answers only from what you put in, with citations, never from the web. Runs on Claude inside the EU. Never sold, never used to train anything. Free to start, no card.
