We built Cortiq after noticing a common pattern in the startup world: many founders spend months building products only to discover later that the idea itself was weak. The biggest risk in startups isn’t always execution—it’s choosing the wrong idea to build in the first place. While exploring startup communities, accelerators, and founder stories, we saw how much early-stage decision making depends on intuition, scattered research, or informal feedback. There was no simple system that could help founders quickly analyze whether an idea had real potential. That insight led to Cortiq. We wanted to create something like an analytical co-founder—an AI system that could evaluate ideas through multiple lenses such as market demand, competition, scalability, and monetization. Instead of generating generic advice, the goal was to provide structured intelligence that helps founders make better early decisions. During development, our approach evolved significantly. At first, we focused on simple idea scoring, but we quickly realized that founders don’t just need scores—they need clear reasoning and actionable insights. So we redesigned the system to break down ideas into multiple evaluation factors and provide explanations for each one. Cortiq is still evolving, but the mission is clear: help founders stop guessing and start building ideas with stronger foundations. We’re excited to launch and learn from the community’s feedback.
