Convex Panel - A real-time control panel for your Convex backend

I built Convex Panel after way too many late nights staring at logs and ad‑hoc scripts, thinking, “There has to be a nicer way to understand what my Convex app is actually doing.” Simple questions like “what’s in this table right now?” or “why is this function being weird in prod but fine locally?” turned into annoying multi‑tool scavenger hunts. The first version was honestly a scrappy internal toy, just a way to poke at data in real time without writing one‑off code. But as I used it (and showed it to other Convex devs), it started to grow up: better filters, safer in‑place editing, live logs, health views, and a UI that doesn’t feel like punishment when you’re already debugging something stressful. The process has been super iterative and pretty personal. Watch where people get stuck, ship small improvements, repeat. The goal is that moment where you open Convex Panel, take a breath, and think, “Okay, I can actually see what’s going on now.
