The inspiration came from thinking "What if there was a Waze for WiFi?" // a community-powered map where people could share and discover free WiFi locations together. But I also wanted to do it differently: no tracking, no ads, no selling your data. Just a straightforward tool that respects your privacy while helping you stay connected. Building this has been a learning journey. I started with a simple map interface, but the real challenge was figuring out how to verify WiFi spots and make the community contribution process seamless.
