colorSnap - Turn images into Tailwind CSS color palettes instantly

by
ColorSnap turns any image into a Tailwind palette. Upload an image → get the top 5 colors matched to Tailwind classes. No more guessing hex codes or tweaking shades manually. Built it to speed up my own dev flow. Hope it helps yours too.

Hey everyone 👋 I built ColorSnap because I was tired of grabbing screenshots, opening Figma or a color picker, copying hex codes, and then manually figuring out which Tailwind class matched. It started as a small tool I needed for one project. I wanted a way to extract colors directly from an image and get the closest Tailwind utility classes in one go. That way, I could stay focused while building UIs without bouncing between tools. Now it takes just one upload to get a palette of Tailwind-matching colors — it's fast, simple, and keeps me in flow when coding. Would love to hear what you think or how you’d use it! If you have suggestions, I’m all ears. — Melvin

ColorSnap is a slick little tool that makes generating Tailwind palettes from images effortless. I tested it with a few photos, and it instantly gave me clean, usable Tailwind color classes—no hex hunting or manual tweaking needed. It’s a small but super handy addition to any dev workflow. Great for fast theming and visual consistency.
