When do you stop prompting and start fixing the code?

Vibe coding makes it easy to keep asking AI for changes

But sometimes the same bug keeps coming back even after several prompts

At some point, adding more instructions doesn’t help much

You need to understand what’s causing the problem instead of just trying another prompt

I think knowing when to stop prompting is becoming an important skill for anyone building with AI
