What happens after the “wow, it works” moment in vibe coding?

by•

Hey everyone, Danilo here, founder of 👋

Something I’ve been thinking about a lot while watching people build with AI: Vibe coding has made it dramatically easier to get to version 1.0.

But what happens after that?

You build the app, it works, you have that amazing “I actually made this” moment.

Then you need to decide what to improve, what users really need, what feature should come next, whether the UX makes sense, and sometimes even what you should not build. We’ve seen people create surprisingly good products with AI and then slowly stop working on them. Not because the first result was bad, but because evolving a product is a very different problem from generating one.

This is something we’re exploring with . We’re experimenting with AI Employees that stay around your project and help from different perspectives, rather than having AI only generate code when you ask for it.

But I’m really curious about your experience:

  • What has been the hardest part after getting your first AI-built version working?

  • Was it knowing what to build next? Maintaining the code? UX? Bugs? Getting users? Something else?

  • And if you abandoned something you vibe coded, what made you stop?

I’d genuinely love to learn from your answers. We’ll use some of the feedback here to shape what we build next.
