I created CodeMate because working with source code on an iPhone or iPad still feels much harder than it should.
Many mobile editors are either basic text editors or desktop interfaces squeezed onto a touchscreen. CodeMate is built natively for iPhone and iPad, with a focus on performance, readability, and comfortable touch interaction.
You can open files from your device, iCloud Drive, and connected storage providers; edit code with syntax highlighting and customizable themes; navigate large files using tabs, a minimap, Go to Line, and Go to Symbol; and preview HTML projects together with their CSS and JavaScript resources.
My goal is not to replace a full desktop IDE. It is to provide a polished and dependable coding experience whenever your computer is not available.
