What would make you switch from Discord to a new community platform?

by

I’m building CLYQO, a new social and community platform that combines communities, chat, voice & video, profiles, posts and discovery in one place.

While building it, one question keeps coming up:

What would a new platform actually need to offer for you to leave, or at least use it alongside, Discord?

Better community discovery?
More customization?
Better moderation tools?
A proper social feed?
Better voice/video?
Less clutter?
More control for community owners?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who manage communities, because I think simply rebuilding Discord with a different UI isn’t enough.

CLYQO launches here on Product Hunt soon, and I’d love to use the feedback from this thread to help shape what we build next. 💙

What’s the one thing your current community platform is missing?
