Check Out My Chess Progressive Web App : clutchess.netlify.app Over the past three months, I’ve been building a chess web application where users can play against bots and each other. While the current version covers the basic UI and main features, my goal is to evolve it further and address real-world chess-related challenges. Have you ever faced a problem, online or offline, where a digital tool could help improve your chess experience? If you’ve encountered any pain points, big or small, I’d love to hear about them. One idea I’m developing is a deep learning powered computer vision model that converts an image of a real-world chess board into a digital position in the app. This could make it much easier for players without FIDE tournament boards to transition from a physical game to online play, or even to convert the real-time feed of a chess match into digital format, eliminating the need to manually record scoresheets.
