Hey Product Hunt! 🚀 Recently, I came across a Twitter post by Tamara—she got hit with a $70K cloud bill 😨. It immediately reminded me of the time a client of mine got a $4K bill once and a $3.3K bill another time. One of those was actually my mistake. Thankfully, after explaining to support, they were nice enough to waive it. But after doing some research, I found that so many others have faced the same issue. I hope most of them got their bills waived like mine, but seeing how common this is really made me think. That’s why I built CloudSpendGuard—to give myself peace of mind and to help others avoid surprise cloud bills before they happen. Right now, it’s already working for Google Cloud, allowing you to set a budget and automatically disable billing when the limit is hit. But I didn’t stop there—AWS and Azure support are nearly ready. With just a few clicks, you’ll soon be able to choose what actions to take once your budget is reached—whether that’s shutting down specific services, blocking traffic, or applying security controls. Would love to hear your thoughts! Have you ever been hit with a surprise cloud bill? Let’s talk!

I couldn’t believe how easy it was to set a spending limit. CloudSpendGuard is a lifesaver for small businesses like mine!

I've been using CSG for a while, and I can already see the impact on my cloud management across both GCP and AWS. The automatic budget controls prevent surprise bills, letting me focus more on the projects instead of constantly monitoring costs across platforms.

The interface is intuitive, with clear visibility into all cloud spending. For anyone managing multi-cloud resources, it is a really good tool to use.
