What a product ! Couple of thoughts if you are doing B2B : a) Target companies who are hiring for video editors because if a company is hiring for video editor, it will be interested to invest money in a product which will aid their process. b)Target companies who have recently raised funds because these are the companies which will be doing marketing aggressively and might be using your product for video creation. Would be happy to hear your thoughts on this.

So much easier to use than 'industry standard' video editing tools.

The "free" version of the video editor will not let me export my video file, it stays at 1% and it is not my computer because my computer over $2k to build and sustain, and my internet is also tested and confirmed to be very good so it the software not anything that I can control

I've never had this problem, to be honest, but even so, your project is automatically saved in your Projects, so even if it doesn't work the first time, you could refresh or access it on a different computer to export it. It's pretty versatile, at least.
how big is your project?
: I could export with the free version.
You can download your video for free choosing the lowest definition, which is 480 I think (it was good enough for me)

I have wasted so much time working on a video under slow circumstances that doesn't export in the end. I was really looking forward to using this site more often but unfortunately i don't think it's going to happen. What a waste of my valuable time, definitely not recommending this to anyone i meet in the future. I hope you're happy. Getting away with this, regardless if the free version is a scam or not.

things can't be scams if they're free you moron, also, exporting videos takes time everywhere. choosing beggar 101
you don't need it to be done in 5 secs. Anyway, you have enough time because it takes longer to edit a good video that to export it.
really cuz export for me takes like 30 seconds or less?!
Super impressed with the Clipchamp journey. Seeing the preview for this at the 2M users party (which is now 3M?!!) recently was exciting. Definitely see this fitting into my creative workflow, and just generally inspired how the company has grown and built out such a great team <3
Side note: the link up right at time of writing goes right to the web-app, which if you're not logged in shows the signup/login page. This dumps right into the app so might be a little confusing for new users (Create is in beta so onboarding looks like it's still in progress). Check out first for the full picture :) <3

Thanks so much for the feedback ! And you're right, we're in the process of putting the final touches on our onboarding sequence for Create. I'm actually going to include the link you suggested now to reduce confusion for any new users to the platform. 👍
I don't think asking people to sign up without showing/giving them incentive to do so is a good idea. You should at least show an explainer video there or something.
I know how frustrating that can be and I actually happened to come across a video demo right before I read your comment, so why not share it:

Amazing how much in-browser capabilities is provided, would be awesome to see where this is going.

Easy to use, makes editing a video super quick

Cons:

Would be great to have complex functions like motion tracking etc.

I spent HOURS searching for something to create my project with, and nothing was working....but this was the answer!

The amount of time it takes to download

i generated a 9s voiceover when dragging to timeline it truncates to 7s : I can't understand the UI that really sucks :(
and one cannot edit the text or even copy it to clipboard to edit it which is pretty basic needs !
I was about to upgrade but this is blocking for me so you just lose a client !
