I got tired of keeping notes separate from the files they were about

I built ClingNote mostly because this kept annoying me.

I’d be working in an Excel file, PDF, Power BI report, whatever, and I’d have notes about it... but those notes lived somewhere completely different.

Maybe OneNote. Maybe a text file. Maybe some random folder. Half the time I’d just forget where I put them.

So I made ClingNote work the other way around.

You open a file, its note is there.
Switch to a different file, different note.
Come back to that first file months later, the note is still tied to it.

Basically just giving files/apps their own little second page.

I’m getting it ready to launch now and I’m curious what people would actually use this with.

Excel? PDFs? Code projects? Design stuff? Something else?
