Hi ProductHunters,

I was frustrated by macOS for not letting me minimize and restore apps with a single click on their dock icons - a capability that is available in all other modern operating systems. Additionally, it was quite aggravating to continuously switch between various windows, targeting the tiny Mac window dots to minimize, maximize, or close them.

Click2Minimize was created because, for years, I hadn't found a satisfactory solution, despite waiting through generations of macOS, which still does not offer this feature.

It all started with a straightforward, intuitive click on the dock icon to minimize an application, which led to the name Click2Minimize. Now, it has evolved into a complete tool, intended to fully replace those small dots. It alleviates the frustration often associated with managing Mac windows, particularly fullscreen ones, and shifting them between multiple displays. This empowers users to focus on their tasks and utilize their screen space effectively. Furthermore, it includes an app switcher that can bring focus back to recently used applications, even if they were accidentally closed.

All of these features can be accessed with just a few mouse clicks, using only one hand, without needing to reach for the keyboard. It feels very natural, and once you get used to it, I must confess it's quite addictive and calming to the mind.

Give it a try, and satisfaction is guaranteed...
