Self-hosting OpenClaw correctly is not a one-time task. It means SSL configuration, Docker maintenance, API key rotation, and server hardening, on infrastructure where one misconfiguration exposes real business data.

Cisco's security team demonstrated exactly this risk last month on a live deployment.

We chose Frankfurt specifically because German data law gives customers the strongest enforceable residency guarantees in the EU. One isolated instance per customer. No shared surface. No ambiguity.
