Hi Product Hunt — I’m Davinder, the maker of Clarify.

I’ve always enjoyed reading nonfiction because it helps me learn and see things differently. But as a non-native English speaker, I often found that difficult prose got between me and the idea I was trying to understand.

I built Clarify to make those books easier to read without replacing them with summaries. I wanted help with the language while still being able to read the author’s original work.

The main feature is Auto Simplify. Turn it on once, and clearer wording appears directly inside the reader as you move through the chapter. The original is always one tap away. If you only need help with a particular passage, you can select it and ask Clarify to simplify or explain it.

I’ve also added guided philosophy paths for readers who want to explore Stoicism, ethics, or political philosophy but aren’t sure where to begin.
