CircleUp - Breifings built for the AI generation.

by•
Most team-comms tools give shift workers one more chat feed to ignore. CircleUp replaces the pre-shift meeting itself: the manager records a 2-minute vertical video, attaches the files they already use, and the crew watches on their own time, captions on. Questions are asked privately — the AI answers only from that video and those files, sources cited. It never guesses: what it can't answer escalates to the manager, and the reply joins the knowledge base forever. Answer once, apply forever.

Hey Product Hunt — Greg here, solo founder of CircleUp. I spent 12 years building online-ordering hardware for restaurants, which means I've stood in a lot of kitchens during a lot of pre-shift huddles. The scene is always the same: half the crew is there, heads nod, and by 8:40 the manager has answered the same question four times — while the closer who clocked in at 6 heard none of it. I don't think that's a people problem. The format is the problem: a live meeting only reaches whoever's standing in it. Meanwhile the crew gets everything else in their life from short vertical video with captions on and a search bar underneath. So that's the format I built the briefing in: — Manager records 2 minutes on their phone and attaches the files they already make (schedule, menu, handbook) — The crew scrolls it like a feed, on their own time, captions on — The AI answers their questions privately — only from that video and those files, sources cited — What it can't answer escalates to the manager, and the answer sticks for the next person who asks The part I'm proudest of: the marketing is the product. Nothing at circleup.now/c is a demo video — each one is a live CircleUp. Play the briefing, then ask it anything. If the AI can't answer, your question lands in my inbox. 7-day free trial, no card. I'd love your hardest questions — especially from anyone who's ever run a shift.
