How do you discover great local food when you're in a new area?
One thing I've noticed is that discovering great local food is still surprisingly difficult.
When I'm somewhere new, I usually end up:
Searching Google Maps
Checking Instagram or TikTok
Asking friends or locals
Walking around hoping to find something good
Even then, I often miss amazing local food vendors that don't have a strong online presence.
That's one of the reasons I started building ChopSpot, to make discovering nearby local food simpler for both customers and vendors.
I'm curious:
How do you usually find good local food when you're exploring a new city or neighborhood?
Google Maps?
Social media?
Food blogs?
Word of mouth?
Something else?
I'd love to hear what works for you, and what frustrations you still have. Your experiences could help shape how we continue improving ChopSpot.
