ChatWise - ChatWise is like Instagram where creators take equity stake

ChatWise is like Instagram but where creators and users build equity stake. Nearly 50% of all company shares have been for creators to build a democratic organisation. Its like Facebook, but where founder shares are shared with community.

Is it legal to grant equity to non-accredited investors in the UK? @joris_paris any thoughts on this?
Joris Delanoue
👋 @mikestaub I am not a lawyer, and I don't give any legal advice ;-). To my modest knowledge, equity investments and equity grants in the US are two different mechanisms of equity issuance, relying on different US exemptions. Just like employees don't need to be accredited to get equity (options, RSU), bona fide services providers of US C-Corp can receive equity grants without being accredited investors. I can't say much about UK as the exemptions that exist in the US are probably different in Europe/UK.
