Chain Assassin - Autonomous real-world crypto battles with on-chain prizes.

by
Chain Assassin turns real-world elimination gameplay into autonomous on-chain matches. Unlike location games that rely on centralized operators, once a game is funded it runs by smart-contract rules with transparent payouts and no moderator. It combines mobile-first live hunting/check-in with a real-time web spectator view, and is fully open source so anyone can verify, audit, and build on it.

We wanted to build a game where trust doesn’t depend on an organizer. Most real-world competition apps still rely on centralized control for rules, payouts, and dispute resolution, so we set out to make matches that can run autonomously once funded. We started with a simple concept, then evolved into an API-first architecture with blockchain indexing for speed, mobile for action-heavy gameplay, and web for spectator/discovery. Along the way, we tightened security, automated end-to-end testing on a simulated chain, and focused on making the experience both fair and transparent without sacrificing fun.
