Chaim - GitHub contributions, but for your AI coding

by•
Chaim turns your Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and other AI coding sessions into a live developer profile. Track tokens, models and streaks, climb leaderboards by model and country, and embed your stats anywhere. Only numbers leave your machine.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm the maker of Chaim.

I code with AI every day, and I noticed something: GitHub shows my commits, but nothing shows the work I do with Claude Code, Codex or Gemini. All that usage just sits in log files on my computer.

So I built Chaim. It's like GitHub contributions, but for your AI coding.

How it works:
1. Install the CLI: npm install -g chaim-cli
2. Run: chaim login
3. Your whole local history syncs, not just today's usage.

What you get:
- A live profile with your tokens, models, sessions and coding streak
- A global leaderboard, plus boards by model and by country
- Badges and milestones as you go
- A README badge and a portfolio embed that update on their own
- Bits (paid): estimated cost per model, custom banner, embed templates

On privacy: Chaim counts, it doesn't read. Only numbers leave your machine. No prompts, no code, no keys. You can run "chaim sync --dry-run" to see exactly what would be sent before anything is uploaded.

It's free to start. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Cline, Continue and more.

I'd love your feedback, especially on what stats you'd want to see next. I'll be here all day answering questions.
