The sexy world of risk & compliance... said noone ever. But... Circa 2016... as a small business owner with clients in AU and overseas, cyber security and data protection requirements were suffocating our business. We looked all around the world for a framework and tool to help us manage these (among other) risks, but all we could find were expensive and complicated enterprise GRC platforms. So we built a tool for ourselves (and our partners) to assess, report, remediate and certify to the "Essential 8" cyber standards, and soon realised this could help SMEs all around the world. So we turned it into CertifiedBy.com and launched last year. Risk and compliance is overlooked by many SMEs and Nonprofits, but if contractual compliance and procurement drives growth for your business...
