Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built CertFlip because I was tired of the pain of getting SSL certificates on shared hosting. I run a few side projects on hosts where I don't have shell access — so Certbot wasn't an option. Every time a certificate expired, it was the same frustrating dance. CertFlip solves this with DNS-01 validation: you add a TXT record, and you get your Let's Encrypt certificate through the browser. No SSH, no CLI, no server config. Takes less than a minute. A few things I'm proud of: - Your private keys are never stored. They're generated, shown to you once, and discarded. - There's a full REST API if you want to automate issuance in your own infrastructure. - Wildcard certificates are supported. - You get email alerts before certificates expire. The free tier lets you try it immediately — no credit card needed. I'd love to hear your feedback. What would make this more useful for your workflow? And if you've struggled with SSL on shared hosting or client projects, I'd be curious to hear how you've dealt with it. Thanks for checking it out!
