My wife and I kept going over budget when shopping at the supermarket. The problem was that we never had a clear view of the total cost — she’d add what she wanted, I’d grab what I wanted, and we’d only realize we overspent at the checkout.
To solve this, I built a simple app: just snap a photo of any price tag in the store, and the item (with its price) is added to a shared shopping list. It helps us track the running total and coordinate purchases in real time.
Now, my wife and I can both manage the cart at the same time and instantly see what each of us is adding. We always know exactly how much we’ll pay at checkout.
