by
Used car shopping is overwhelming — too many listings, too little context. Paste any used car URL and get an AI diagnosis matched to your life: budget, family, etc... · Neutral scoring across multiple listing sites · JNCAP safety test data included · AI comparison for your top 2–3 picks · English support for international residents in Japan Built by an ADAS engineer tired of gut-feeling car purchases. Demo phase — feedback welcome.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Takahiro — an automotive ADAS engineer by day, indie developer by night. When I started learning AI, CARte was the very first thing I wanted to build. Here's why: Last year I bought my first used car. For me it was fun — I love cars. But I kept thinking: for someone who doesn't, this process is brutal. Too many listings, no clear way to judge quality, and a dealer waiting on the other end who knows far more than you do. The information asymmetry is the real problem. CARte exists to close that gap — giving anyone a data-driven second opinion before they ever walk into a dealership. A few things I built that I'm proud of: — Cross-platform neutral scoring (works across competing listing sites) — JNCAP safety test integration (Japan's official crash test database) — AI-powered comparison for your final 2–3 candidates — Full English support for international residents navigating Japan's used car market One honest caveat: CARte is built specifically for Japan's used car market. If you're outside Japan, you won't be able to test it directly. But I believe the problem is universal. So I'd love to ask the PH community:👇 Where are you from, and how is used car buying in your country? Is it just as confusing? Would an app like this be useful where you are? Would love to hear what the used car experience looks like around the world. Thanks for the upvote 🙏
