Caréable started as a small tool I built for my own family while caring for a loved one with aphasia and disability after a severe stroke. We needed a calendar everyone could access — including seniors over 70 — without apps, accounts, or technical barriers. A calendar that could be shared instantly. A calendar that was clear, warm, and accessible. A calendar that people could actually use. That prototype became Caréable — a web app designed for real-life, real-families, and real-life challenges. If diverse people need to stay in sync — Caréable works.

This is a really strong example of solving a problem that’s usually underestimated until you live it.

What stands out is how intentional the constraints are:
– no accounts
– no app dependency
– extremely low cognitive load
– designed for non-technical users (especially seniors)

From a system design perspective, that’s actually harder than building a “feature-rich” calendar, because you’re optimizing for removal of friction, not addition of functionality.

I’m curious how you’re handling:
– sync consistency across shared users without accounts
– conflict resolution when multiple people update the same event
– and how you’re thinking about accessibility beyond UI (latency, device limitations, etc.)

Really meaningful direction - especially because it sits at the intersection of healthcare, family coordination, and accessibility.
