Hey! This is my first app ever and I'm excited (and nervous) to share it here. The idea came from a pretty specific frustration: I'm in meetings all day on Teams and Zoom, and I wanted transcripts. But every tool I found either sends a bot into the call (awkward, especially with clients) or records system audio. I run a Focusrite audio interface with MIDI gear and the audio routing just breaks every time. Then I realized: these platforms already generate captions. Why not just save those? That's all CaptionSnap does. Real speaker names, timestamps, markdown files saved to your Mac. Nothing leaves your machine. I'm sure there's a ton I haven't thought of yet, so genuinely: what would you want this to do that it doesn't? What feels off? I'm all ears.
