I love the concept. Can it handle drag and drop file uploads?
@faizullo_suponyorov Thank you for viewing! This beta is absolutely shipping with drag and drop ⚓
The potential here is massive but I’d really appreciate more clarity on how you handle AI hallucinations especially when Captain makes a mistake. Will you keep track of false positives?
@claudia_sturt Thanks Claudia! We agree, Captain is going to change everything! Regarding halucinations, all of our results include citations so we can have another agent verify outputs with VERY high reliability. Our querying workflow passes through several layers of filtering and validation so our results maintain exceptional quality.

Amazing launch—would love a Slack integration so I can query Captain directly from our team channels.
@aj_123 Thanks! Native integrations into Slack, Google Drive, OneDrive, Notion, etc. will be rolled out over the next few weeks! Be sure to sign up for that here! https://runcaptain.com/onboarding
Is there a browser extension in the works that allows me to query documents while using other tools?
@justin_deacon Great question! We'll be built via API and MCP for developers who can, in theory, build these types of integrations and tools.
How accurate is the retrieval process when dealing with different file types?
@gold_chowdhury We are more accurate! Different file types are actually what we focused on. Instead of having teams of data engineers annotating and chunking data, we have agents that can describe these different files with great detail while standardizing the format for our retrieval.
I’m looking forward to this open beta. Are there plans to integrate with Notion, Google Drive or Slack in the near future?
@youngju_yu Looking forward to having you join! We plan on rolling out SaaS products like Google Drive, Slack, and Notion very soon as data inputs to retrieve. Developers could also soon use our MCP and API backend to build integrations within these tools if thats what you're more focused on
