For some time, I have been looking for an efficient tool that allows screen recording with advanced editing features, and I couldn't resist trying it out. Yes, there are a few bugs that affect the user experience, but it seems very promising! The product is truly interesting, especially the advanced editing capabilities! 🦄

Are there any demo or app walkthrough videos available? Or even screenshots? Very much interested to learn more about the capabilities of the editor, but I'm on Windows and couldn't find any details on the website.

Just tried the latest version of Cap.so, and I’m absolutely blown away! 🎉 I used the earlier versions before, and it was a solid screen recording tool, but nothing too extraordinary. But this v0.3.1 update has taken it to a whole new level! The Cap Apps feature is such a creative addition! The ability for users to submit their own apps to extend Cap’s functionality is a game-changer. The S3 Config app, in particular, is super useful. I can now upload my recordings directly to my own S3 bucket, which gives me full control over my data. Feels so much better knowing my content is where I want it to be, privacy-wise! 💪

Great app. Already a paying customer. Works faster than Loom when it comes to recordings and as a dev, I love everything that's open source.

Does it have features like in Automatic zoom, Smooth cursor movement etc. Similar to Screen Studio? https://screen.studio/ It's weird that Cap doesn't have product demo because it should be Screen Recorded product
