Hey thank you it is hard to find vegan alternatives to supplements (esp with same efficacy...)Re Carrageenan... Is your product completely free of carrageenan? I believe most vegan Omega 3 brands use non-degraded carrageenen which is diff. than degraded version that could be inflamatory. [Tho also — According to Cornucopia, test results of food-grade carrageenan carried at least 5 percent degraded carrageenan.] Thank you!

@zurgun Yes, we use a tapioca soft gel, so there's no carrageenan.

I started Calgee after personal health problems led me to fish oil. Despite growing up as a vegetarian, I tried it out but I didn't like the fishy burps or aftertaste. Not to mention, the ethical dilemma of taking fish oil! The vegan alternatives had issues of their own, some contained carrageenan which some people believe to be inflammatory and others didn't do much for the environment.
