Bugasura AI is a smart add on to the Bugasura issue tracker that allows you to unlock the impact of the bug on your customer and software. It also helps you reduce redundancy by detecting similar issues previously logged.
Welcome to the future of bug tracking 🔮 , Product Hunters!
Today, my co makers @pradeepsoundararajan, @avinashjn and I are super excited to introduce Bugasura AI - a first-of-its-kind AI bug tracking feature that helps you report bugs better and more efficiently.
With Bugasura AI:
🥊 You get to unlock the impact that a bug can have on your software and your customers. This won’t just help you understand how to priotitize a bug but also help save thousands of dollars!
⚡️ Also, you can now happily say goodbye to setting up filters, alerts, or talking to a chain of people to understand if the bug was fixed before.
📈 What’s more? Save developer bandwidth and work smartly around issues. Bugasura AI detects issues of the same type to show you if a similar bug was logged in the project.
This helps you explore the fix faster, help new teammates get acquainted with your development logs more easily and also capture full context of the bug: https://bugasura.io/ai-bug-track...
Do give Bugasura AI a try and let us know what you think.
@irturko Thanks for your confidence in us. Trust me, as makers we constant have this in the back of our heads and consciously try to build differently than what's available in the market.
Feedback like this keeps this belief alive. :)
We didn’t build just to please the world with A.I.
We built it to help people become deep thinkers by adding Impact of the bug suggested by A.I.
Our beta users love it because it has changed their behaviour of reporting bugs and product owners, product managers and developers are loving this as much as Testers and QA’s are.
Also for ages the world needed a simpler way to find duplicate issues. Now Bugasura AI does it. As people type the issue - possible duplicates pop up.
This is just the beginning or reinventing bug tracking for modern teams.
Stuck with a dinosaur product? Switch to Bugasura. It is fast and super simple and straightforward.
This is just amazing. Incredible use of AI to file the bug and make the testers life easy. This will definitely improve the user experience and improve the productivity. Kudos to bugasura team.
I'm really impressed with Bugasura AI – it sounds like a game-changer for managing software bugs and streamlining the development process. Especially, for regression testing, I think (that's what all QA Engineers hate 😅).
Is it only for web testing or it could be integrated into game testing? 🤯
@vera_mur haha totally get what you mean. Thanks so much for checking the launch out.
Yes! the tracker and the AI feature will work for any type of testing. Bugasura AI detects impact from the prompts in the summary so you should be good to use it.
Let me know if you want me to walk you through it.
Congrats on the launch, loved the onboarding and everything was super smooth. That said, from what I could tell this seems to be something that I replace Jira with instead of a Jira plugin. I would love to be able to use the AI-generated impact without switching completely away from Jira. Because IMO, while that feature is great it's not enough for me to switch.
@between_team Thanks for trying it out David. Im curious about how you use JIRA. Think we could do a short call? It'd really help us understand your needs.
That said, we do have JIRA link and JIRA sync if you do not want to move out completely. I can walk you through it if you'd like.

Bugasura has been a more breezy alternative to its competitors like Jira, Trello, Asana, etc. It has proved to be a more accessible, functional and presentable alternative that serves cross-functional teams in achieving their goals towards product development, report presentation and whole lot of features.
As someone who's worked with both Jira and Bugasura, I'd pick the latter at any given time!
Congrats Rapti & team on launching of Bugasura!
The AI-driven bug tracking concept is promising. Unlocking bug impact and saving developer bandwidth are essential, and I'm excited to see how this transforms software development.
Kudos to the team for this innovative tool!
@maxtpham thank you! Would love to get your feedback on the specifics as well. Would you like to see something specific? What can we add to our roadmap?
@colinmcdermott looks like we figured it out. Thank you for pointing it out.
If you're looking for the pricing - we charge $5/user/month.

@rapti nice! yes working for me now, no 404 - great work! I did think it would be a good use case for your product also haha
Bugasura look interesting. How it calculates the impact? Every product is different signup not working can be a big impact on customer-facing apps but not on internal apps like operational apps.
@rishi_saraf Great observation, yes.
Right now, It detects impact based on the summary you provide to it but we're looking at enhancing this in our later versions.
And it also allows you to regenerate based on prompts. We're also thinking of training it with every prompt to make it more intelligent for every use case.
What other things/components of impact would you like to see? and how would you like to use it?
@rapti ideal will be to provide the capability to train the model with organization platform and its criticality. Once AI knows how your platform works and its components, it will be more accurate in finding the impact.
